Summary
| Description |
English: Teresa of Ávila's walking stick (walking cane) in Argentina. This relic has become a symbol of St. Teresa’s own spiritual journey.
The walking stick, encased in a crystal box, is part of the 144-day “Path of Light” pilgrimage tour that began in Ávila, Spain, on 15 October, 2014 (her feast day), and has stopped at Discalced Carmelite centers worldwide. The pilgrimage tour was organised by the Discalced Carmelites to celebrate the fifth centenary of the birth of St. Teresa of Jesus, and will end in Ávila on 28 March (her birthday), 2015.
